Reviews
I’ve “tested” 223 Federal Fusion 62 gr. and 6.8 SPC Federal Fusion 90 gr….was very impressed….great penetration….accurate…the copper is fused to a lead core electronically there’s no separation when they expand…if I used factory ammo I would not hesitate shooting a deer with either one…
There’s many police departments using 223 Federal Fusion….its one the best
“Barrier Blind Loads” available…it will shoot threw vehicle windows and doors and still be lethal…
Federal Fusion bullets preform better than any copper-lead “cup core” bullets I’ve “tested”….there is never a separation of copper and lead….
wish they would make a 250gr version. I think 300gr is too heavy for the amount of powder. I looked at the ballistics and it has less energy and much more drop than the Hornady 250gr. At 200 yards (100 yard zero) it drops like 14″ compared to 8.8” of the Honady.
I don’t get why I would want to use this over Hornady which is super accurate and flat enough out to 200 yards.
